Bachelor's Degree in health care education or a related field required.
One year of formal classroom experience as an adult educator is recommended.
Experience in the development and coordination of educational programs is recommended.
Demonstrated ability to communicate accurately and effectively both orally and in writing.
Prior education or experience must indicate compatibility with others and ability to develop ideas and plans.
Proficient in using Microsoft Windows, PowerPoint and Word.
Experience planning, developing and creating computer-based training using e-learning authoring tools.
Creative ability to develop class agendas and materials and to present them in innovative and interesting ways.
Experience in designing, writing and implementing department procedures.
Background in safety regulations desirable
Knowledge of database management systems preferred.
May be required to lift more than 35 pounds.
Works under the general supervision of the Director of Organizational Effectiveness.
Consults with and receives requests for in-service activities from management staff, members of various hospital committees, and others.
