The Clinical Analytic Consultant is responsible for providing data-driven strategic insights, customized innovative analytic approaches and providing insightful management opportunities for strategic clients in a Prescription Benefit Management setting.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Primary Responsibilities: Efficiently extract and manipulate pharmacy claim data for internal and external clientsCollaborate with the clinical account management team and other internal departments to support the analytic needs of one or more clientsDesign, execute, and maintain advanced PBM analytics, conduct and evaluate trend analyses, and present clinical and financial opportunities based on analytic insights to clientsUse logic and analytic skills to perform client analyses in response to specific business questions and communicate the findings, including data sources, methodology, outcomes and recommendations
Required Qualifications:5+ years of experience in quantitative analytics, conducting advanced analytic modeling for large claims databases with real - world application 3+ years of experience working with administrative pharmacy claims data3+ years' experience consulting with internal and external clients to drive insights and action from analytics1+ year of experience working in PBM and / or managed care Experience writing and executing code in SQL and / or SAS1+ years' experience preparing and giving formal presentations to clientsProficient computer skills including in Microsoft Outlook and OfficeAbility to travel up to 10%Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree: Master's Degree in Math, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Public Health, Health Economics or a related quantitative field preferredConsulting experience within a PBMExperience working with Managed Care OrganizationsExperience working with Medical Claims DataAlready Fortune 6, we are totally focused on innovation and change.
