Join us and start doing your life's best work.(sm) Primary Responsibilities: Primary service contact for the account management team and their respective brokers and client groups in the Small Business segment (51 - 99), Account Management Services, Growth opportunityFacilitate resolution of administration / service issues and develop strong internal and external working relationships that encourage loyalty with United Healthcare Provide administrative and service support for new and existing business, researching and resolving issues relating to claims, billing and enrollment Handle customer issues escalated from Enterprise Solutions, attempting to achieve first-contact resolution Collaborate with dedicated functional experts to resolve issues quickly and effectively Manage claims exception requests Request or run ad hoc reports to research a service issue or claim Work to ensure client receives superior customer service Build and sustain positive relationships with brokers, consultants, clients and internal partners Educate / train agents / clients on general administrative processes and service paths. Training of broker / employer / members on member and employer portals Conduct Welcome Calls to new clients, enrollment meetings with agents / clients with account team Gather data and identify trends in order to recommend process improvement strategies, i.e., research issues to analyze root causes and determine corrective action, identify trends in process metrics, and service issues to determine root causes Responsive, attention to detail, and good follow-through Organize and prioritize work Work independently and in a team environment Handle high stress situations and tight deadlines Takes responsibility for achieving results, meeting commitments, and demonstrating a proactive and positive approach Demonstrates a consistent track record of setting and achieving high personal performance standards Persistent and creative when presented with obstacles to performing job Demonstrates confidence in front of the customer or broker
Requirements:Bachelor's Degree (or higher) or High School Diploma / GED with 4+years of work experience in customer service or client facing role2+ years of client facing or customer service experience (telephone or face to face), demonstrating a sense of urgency and ownership for resolving client issues.2+ years of experience creating and editing documents/presentations in MS Word, MS Outlook, and MS PowerPointPreferred Qualifications: Bilingual2+ years of experience in account management 2+ years of experience in healthcare related fields (understanding healthcare trends and terminology) 2+ years of experience supporting high volume workflow settings (managing high volumes of email)Careers at UnitedHealthcare Employer & Individual.
