Assist the supervisor with the monitoring, organization, and delegationof the team's workload
Print daily reports and data gathering for summary and weekly trackingdocuments
Act as a liaison between the Registration staff, supervisor, andcustomers (patients)
Provide training and guidance for staff
Provide input on employee performance evaluations as requested
Propose procedural and system changes for enhancing the team'sproductivity, quality and efficiency
Report key factors of productivity and appropriate analysis tosupervisor as needed
Participate on committees as needed to enhance department operations
Establish and maintain effective working relationships
Assume responsibility for the smooth operation of the department in thesupervisor's absence
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned, based uponSCL Health's needs or requirements
Manageand/or redistribute the workload when staff is absent or overwhelmed. This includes working line positions on allshifts when necessary
High School diploma/GED or equivalent, basiccomputer knowledge, 3 years hospital/medical office or medical insuranceexperience. Able to perform theregistration functions of a Registration Representative I, II & III.
