Processes drug purchases, verifies shipments against invoices, follows up on discrepancies. Maintains proper storage of drug inventory. Monitors and adjusts / calibrates pharmacy equipment, fills dispensing units. Processes, packs and ships outgoing pharmacy orders. Pharmacy Technician positions will require state registration / licensure as applicable.Primary Responsibilities:Dispensing prescriptions, handling inventory, following pharmacy policies and procedures.Working accurately in a high production environment- Accurately process pharmacy orders, at satisfactorily production levelsReplenish shelves and automated dispensing machinesMonitors and adjusts / calibrates pharmacy equipment, fills dispensing unitsOperate and interface with automated pharmacy packaging equipmentConstantly meet established productivity, schedule adherence, and quality standards while maintaining a good attendance recordStocking shelves (may include lifting up to 30 lbs.)Lengthy periods, often the entire shift, working on your feetUse of hands/fingers across keyboard or mouse to operate automated machinery, and handling other objectsAbility to work overtime and flexible schedules.
