As a Contracts Manager, you will oversee and participate in negotiations with our pharmaceutical partners as you build strong industry relationships. Primary responsibilities:Negotiate contracts with pharmaceutical companies and pharmacy distributors in compliance with contract templates, standard checklists, and other key process controls Review and if necessary, revise contracts Anticipate and resolve contract language issues Provide explanation and interpretation of contracts to internal and external customers Work closely with legal and business teams to ensure contract language accurately conveys intent Adapt departmental plans and priorities to address business and operational challenges Establish and maintain strong business relationships with pharmaceutical companies Participate in additional projects as needed Assess and interpret customer needs and requirements Identify solutions to non standard requests and problems Solve moderately complex problems and / or conduct moderately complex analyses Work with minimal guidance; seek guidance on only the most complex tasks Translate concepts into practiceOur company is an empowering place for people with the flexibility to help create change. Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree3+ years of experience in healthcare network contract management (ideally in pharmaceutical contracts handling complex rebate and procurement agreements with accountability for business results), or equivalent experienceExcellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to speak clearly and concisely, conveying complex or technical information in a manner that others can understand, as well as ability to understand and interpret complex information from others Strong interpersonal skills, establishing rapport and working well with others Strong customer service skills Strong negotiation skills Proficiency in MS Word, Excel Preferred Qualifications:Experience in the pharmaceutical industry Master's degreeRetail pharmacy or Pharmacy Benefit Management knowledge Experience working in Industry Relations Already Fortune 6, we are totally focused on innovation and change.
