In alignment with Total Rewards and Benefits strategies, the Sr. Director Wellbeing and Innovation plays a lead role in the design and strategy of benefits programs related to health and welfare, wellness, and population health management. Reporting to the Vice President of Health & Wellness, this role will be responsible for creating an enterprise strategy to advance a culture of health and will lead the development, evaluation, and delivery of the UnitedHealth Group total well-being strategy. This role will be responsible for leading the Wellbeing and Innovation Team and will be responsible for the design, management and communication of enterprise-wide well-being programs including: on-site clinics, Rally for Health incentive program, health care advisor program, fitness strategy, healthy eating strategy, well champ network, population health and clinical program management.
Required Qualifications: 10 years or greater of health and total well-being experienceDeep knowledge of healthcare, clinical programs, total wellbeing and emerging trends in these domainsStrong business analysis skills and proficiency in population health data analysisTrack record of maintaining effective working relationships and influencing others at all levels of the organizationDemonstrated experience as a people manager able to develop, grow, motivate, and mentor staff to perform at their bestKnowledge and experience in areas of benefits compliance including PPACA, ADA, IRC Section 125, HIPAA, and ERISA Experience managing partner/vendor relationships to ensure high-quality service and cost effectivenessExcellent project management, interpersonal, verbal & written communication, problem solving and analytical skillsAbility to resolve issues and influence in a team-based environment as well as the ability to work independentlyDemonstrated experience balancing multiple priorities, performing detailed and accurate work, and meeting established deadlinesEnjoys working in a high volume, fast-paced, dynamic environmentBachelor's degreePreferred Qualifications: Masters degreeExperience with product management / product development UnitedHealth Group is working to create the health care system of tomorrow.
