Join us and start doing your life's best work.This particular position is for OptumRx for the:State of TennesseeDepartment of Finance and AdministrationDivision of Health Care Finance and Administration (HCFA)Bureau of TennCareRequest for Proposals for Pharmacy Benefit ManagementPrimary Responsibilities:Administrative Technician shall be responsible for, but not limited to, assisting HCFA staff with: TennCare prior authorization appeals Lock-In program and requirements Communications with Pharmacy Advisory Committee PAC and Drug Utilization Review Board members Support facilitation of Board meetings Coordination of TennCare enrollee and Provider mailings and other communications, and any other tasks assigned by the Account Director Some work is completed without established procedures and review by others Supervision / guidance is required for higher level tasks
Required Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED 4+ years of experience analyzing and solving customer problems in an office setting environment using the telephone, computer, and face-to-face discussions as the primary instruments to perform job duties Moderate proficiency with computer and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications Ability to work on site at the State of Tennessee HCFA office in Nashville, TNPreferred Qualifications: Fee For Service Medicaid or Medicaid Managed Care experience PBM experience Client facing or account management support experience Analytical skills Soft Skills: Ability to multi-task, this includes ability to understand multiple products and multiple levels of benefits within each product Physical Requirements and Work Environment: Extended periods of sitting at a computer and use of hands / fingers across keyboard or mouse Office environmentOptumRx isan empowering place for people with the flexibility to help create change.Innovation is part of the job description.
