Applicants applying for this job should have a Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, English, marketing, public relations, or related field, with a minimum of four years' copywriting experience. They should also have experience leveraging the web as a communication and transactional tool. Health care experience and experience writing for multiple mediums including print, video, and digital preferred.

Our new Writing Specialist will also interact with all levels of the Munson Healthcare organization.
SPECIFIC DUTIES FOR THIS ROLE INCLUDE:

·Promoting personal and patient safety.
·Writing copy for website, social media, digital ads, and traditional marketing and communications collateral.
·Ability to write succinct copy without ignoring the value of syntax, grammar, and readability.
·Coordinating projects and exercising superior time management skills to ensure tasks meet deadlines.
·Experience writing for Search Engine Optimization; developing/implementing content strategy for various platforms.
·Ensures adherence to system editorial and digital standards for accuracy, timeliness, content, style, tone and readability.
·Determines appropriate voice/style for particular audience, tailors writing accordingly; breaks down complicated messages into understandable/actionable content.
·Carries out special projects with minimal direction, as assigned by Manager.
