Bring along your passion and do your life's best work.(sm) The Sales Executive (SE) for Financial Integrity and Connectivity Services (FICS) has responsibility for selling the solutions within the Claims Continuum including EDI, Claims Manager, Patient Access Intelligence, Collaborate, Executive Heath Resources and eFR. Working with the Client Executives (CE) in a geographic region, the SE sells to hospitals, health systems and IDN's, calling on the C - Suite to Director level to quality and develop interest in solutions, build a quality pipeline and close opportunities against an annual quota. The SE must be a collaborative solution sales person with ability to work across Optum CE, Account and Client Management, other SE specialists and Subject Matter Expert. Working within a CRM such as Sales Force to document activity and create account and strategy profiles is critical to success in managing a territory. Primary Responsibilities: Generating new sales of healthcare revenue cycle solutions to the Northwestern Region Identify new sales opportunities as well as work with other Optum Sales individuals to penetrate existing accounts Managing and executing multimillion dollar opportunities at the C level Managing a pipeline of opportunities that allows them to achieve sales targets
Required Qualifications:Degree or equivalent experience Successful track record of selling or pre-sales support of healthcare revenue cycle software and / or service solutions, practice management systems, healthcare analytics or physician services, ambulatory or acute care market 5+ years sales, pre-sales support or account management experience 5+ number of years of proven experience and expertise in the healthcare Provider solutions market Demonstrated success in leading a consultative sales experience, calling on and influencing senior level and / or C-Suite clients in the ambulatory or acute care market Experience in diagnosing client needs and recommending solutions that have measurable and positive business impact Ability to effectively lead the sales process and work cooperatively with team to achieve sales goals Direct experience achieving or directly contributing to Provider revenue cycle solutions sales of at least $1M sales annually Proven ability to operate and effectively navigate in a highly complex, matrix environment with a high level of collaboration Superior communication and presentation skills (listening, written, and verbal) Strong team player with the ability to work independently from a home office with minimal supervision Thrives in a high paced, high intensity environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM (ex. Salesforce) Ability to travel up to 50%Preferred Qualifications: Masters or advanced degree (ex. MBA, MHA) Experience closing or directly contributing to deals between $2-5M Have successfully sold practice management, EMR, clearinghouse, revenue cycle, or claims management / process solutions to large hospitals and provider groups Established relationships with Provider / Hospital network with in the defined geographical areaCareers with Optum.
