Join us and start doing your life's best work.Primary Responsibilities:Facilitates pharmacy daily workflow schedule of activity by coordinating patient pharmacy refill and supply needs for timely compounding and deliveryContacts patients and reviews supplies, and script of medication changes, doctor visits, and signs or symptoms to report to the clinical pharmacist or nurse for review and assessmentObtains patient labs and enters results into patient medical record and facilitates getting information to other healthcare team membersEnters pharmacy related documentation and data including patient information, pharmaceutical refills, ancillary supplies, and DME into patient medical recordSubmits accurate and timely prescription drug claims for adjudication upon fill and as requestedNotifies Pharmacists, Nurses and other staff regarding potential problems, issues or complaintsDocuments written and verbal communication as requiredIdentifies and resolves patient service problems and keeps management informedParticipates in activities associated with the Performance Improvement plan by collecting and submitting data and supporting the action planProvides support / assistance to pharmacy team and warehouseParticipates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:High School Diploma / GED or higher 1+ years of Customer Service experience or 1+ years of Health Care setting experienceAbility to navigate a PC to open applications, send emails, and conduct data entryCandidates must be able to create, edit, copy, send and save documents, correspondence and spreadsheets in MS Excel and MS WordAbility to send and receive emailsMust be available for an 8-hour shift Mon - Fri between the hours of 8am to 6pmBilingual in English and Spanish Preferred Qualifications:Pharmacy Technician experience Home Infusion experience Careerswith AxelaCare.
