Make yourself at home with us and start doing your life's best work.(sm) Primary Responsibilities:Testing Lead to coordinate all testing activities Sets team direction, resolves problems and provides guidance to members of own team Oversee work activities of other supervisors Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address business and operational challenges Influences or provides input to forecasting and planning activities Design/develop test strategy Plan and create test data sets/scenarios Identify and mitigate risks/issues related to testing Ensure alignment of quality/test plans to business case/value Ensure availability of internal/external resources needed to complete testing projects (e.g., funding, staffing) Develop/implement automated test strategy and scripts Execute test cases/scenarios Provide support for automated test scripts/frameworks Identify and analyze testing issues/defects Manage testing process/workflow to ensure that timelines and deliverables are met Ensure compliance with applicable testing standards and best practices
Required Qualifications:Undergraduate degree 7+ years of quality assurance Lead experience Experience in performing the full range of test execution activities, including developer / unit testing, functional, performance / load / capacity, regression, integration, user acceptance, and cross application testing Hands-on experience in planning, developing, executing and validating major QA efforts on complex projects Strong interpersonal, oral and written communications skills demonstrated through successfully leading large and complex change initiatives Versed in the skills and experienced in the practice of leading organizational change Solid technical skills and background as needed to support the oversight of development and management of complex multi-platform testing environments Strong project management, customer service and conflict management skills that can be applied in providing support and direction to team members and key business and IS staff leading projects Proven ability to develop and implement initiatives successfully from the strategic planning phase through execution and post-implementation Proven ability to manage in a matrix environment and partner with IS and business area representatives in leading and supporting QA activities Solid background in applications development methodologies, SDLC and other IT industry standards Experience with Test Automation, ALM, Selenium, QTP 80% Travel (Within Montana)Preferred Qualifications: Working with Offshore resourcesCareers with Optum.
