Join us and start doing your life's best work.(sm) Primary Responsibilities: Design, implement and maintain .Net applications within all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Develop, test, implement and maintain application software working with established processes Communicate effectively with other engineers and QA Establish, refine and integrate development and test environment tools and software as needed Identify production and non-production application issues Identify opportunities to fine-tune and optimize applications of .Net developed projects Provide technical support and consultation for .Net application and infrastructure questions Serve as a mentor to less experienced developers Develop new and/or enhance existing application or system code as assigned or provided in technical specifications Perform the day to day functions such as running of existing programs, applications, jobs, reviewing logs for errors, writing or editing software and code, performing testing activities, and updating documentation Coordinate activities with other technical and functional areas as required Work may include sensitive healthcare information, data, trends, or claims Lead the team of 5 or more resources, mentoring team, removing technical road blocks, and suggest new technical solutions
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree 5+ years of previous applications development experience 5+ years of experience with the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) 5+ years of experience within a large enterprise environment Relational database experience 5+ years of experience in IVR (Cisco Voice Portal or Genesys Vice Portal), SOAP & Rest Strong knowledge and experience on Break Fix Process 5+ years of experience with HTML, XML, SOAP, Rest Services 2+ years of experience working as a .Net developer At least 2 years Unit Testing experienceKnowledgeable with testing process and methodologiesExperience in mentoring team, removing technical road blocks, and suggest new technical solutions Preferred Qualifications:5+ years of experience with Tomcat3+ years of experience with Configuration management tools Previous healthcare industry experienceExperience on Build automation tools such as Anthill Pro or Jenkins Data warehouse experience Skills in Subversion / Codehub, Web Services Technology Careers with Optum.
