SCL Health Talent Share Float Pool (TSFP) internal staffing program allows us to better care for our patients by taking better care of our employees. Now our CNAs can make the most of work-life balance while earning premium pay and working where they're needed most. As a member of our regional float pool, you will:
Float to at least two of four SCL Health Denver area hospitals
Receive a flat rate premium pay of up to $21/hour for contingent/PRN work
No weekend requirement
One "Hallmark" holiday required annually
In these per diem positions (on-call) you can support patient care needs in a variety of units at our following Denver area hospitals:
Saint Joseph Hospital (Denver) The oldest private teaching hospital in Colorado Updated, state-of-the-art hospital facilities opening in 2014
Lutheran Medical Center (Wheat Ridge) Colorado's first Senior Emergency Department Nurses Improving the Care for Health System Elders (NICHE) designated hospital
Level III Trauma Center
Good Samaritan Medical Center (Lafayette) Certified as a Primary Stroke Center by the Joint Commission
Level II Trauma Center
Platte Valley Medical Center (Brighton)
Accredited Chest Pain Center
Primary Stroke Center Level III Trauma Center
Current CNA license to provide patient care in Colorado required
A minimum of two years of recent/current CNA direct patient care experience in a facility required; one year of current experience in an acute hospital setting (not LTAC or Rehab); float experience required
Minimum availability of two shifts every pay period (every two weeks) required
Current BLS for Healthcare providers required
Willingness and reliable transportation to float between all three Denver area hospitals required
Experience in an acute care hospital strongly preferred
Experience in a facility with a Level I or Level II trauma rating strongly preferred; experience in multiple acute care units preferred (ICU, Tele, Med/Surg, Ortho, ER, etc.)
Previous float, travel, or contract agency experience strongly recommended; please make sure you include this experience on your resume
