Join us and learn why there is no better place to do your life's best work.(sm) As a Product Commercialization Manager, you will support the commercialization of key OptumRx product lines including Home Delivery (HD), Specialty, and Pharmacy Care Services (PCS). You will partner closely with the new strategic product management leaders for HD, Specialty, and PCS to understand the product roadmap, features, pricing, etc. and then work with Sales and Account team leads to develop client specific approaches that introduce these solutions to address sales opportunities or support existing clients. You will be responsible for managing a sales pipeline for all in - market or new products and will be measured on effectiveness of extending product solutions across the various markets we serve. You will also have opportunities to work directly with prospects and clients and present in - market or new product solutions. The scope of the position leverages in - depth quantitative skills, knowledge of specific markets and competitive landscape, and an understanding of key business objectives. This role will report to Sr. Product Commercialization Manager, as a means to learn commercialization best practices and apply these techniques to the product areas mentioned above. Primary Responsibilities: Navigate and influence multiple cross - functional teams in a complex, matrix work environment Support the development of market and sales strategies and value proposition Manage a sales pipeline for all new and in - market products Work with sales and account management to understand the unique needs of specific prospects or accounts to inform our product recommendations Forecast revenue opportunities associated with product development initiatives Develop pricing and value models to forecast ROI for in - market or new products Manage cross - segment projects and initiatives that require problem solving, relationship building, influencing and analyzing Adapt departmental plans and priorities to address business and operational challenges
Required Qualifications: Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience 2+ years' experience in a Product Management / Product role partnering with Sales or Account teams Proficiency with MS Office applications (min. of 3 years exp) Demonstrated ability to achieve goals in a matrix environment Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and influence others Effectively communicate at all levels of the organizationPreferred Qualifications: Advanced Degree Healthcare experienceCareers with Optum.
