Join us and start doing your life's best work.(sm) We currently have an exciting opportunity based in Letterkenny, Co Donegal: We are aiming to hire 12+ individuals who are highly driven and ambitious to join our Global Coordination of Benefits Team. Team members will be given full training to perform routine and specialty investigations, determining primacy of other coverage for members who have two or more health policies in order to avoid overpayment of claims and increase customer satisfaction. The role is target driven to contribute to the Coordination of Benefits Savings Objectives. The shift work pattern will be day based from 1pm-10pm each day, Monday to Thursday and 1pm-6pm on Friday's. Primary Responsibilities:Coordination of Benefits team members will investigate member records and make outbound calls to various stakeholders including members, health providers and employers to establish whether the member has multiple policies to determine primacy of payment of benefits Initiates telephone calls to members, providers and other insurance companies to gather Coordination of Benefits data Receives and responds to incoming telephone inquiries Determines primacy using published Coordination of Benefits guidelines Documents and communicates outcome of investigation following departmental procedures Meets productivity, quality and timeliness goals Responds to routine or standard requests to meet customer needs Focuses on Customer; exceeds expectations and improves customer experience
Required Qualifications:3rd level education qualification or equivalent Solid experience of working in a role with customer experience to include improving customer relationships and satisfaction Strong verbal and written communication skills to include the ability to courteously interact with members, providers and other insurance companies to ensure positive customer experience The ability collect, analyze, and interpret customer interactions to identify requirements and information useful in optimizing customer experience Ability to influence outcomes and promote positive relations Resilience and ability to overcome objections and manage Individual targets Strong knowledge of MS OfficePreferred Qualifications:Good experience in target driven environment Demonstrate the ability to be a self-starter along with being a team player Familiar with Quality Performance Measures Experience of using multiple systems Demonstrates ability to adapt to changeCareers with Optum.
