Working in a state-of-the-art pharmacy distribution center, the Associate Fulfillment Pharmacy Clerk is responsible for the proper packing and shipping of home delivery prescriptions for our members to insure contents arrive safely and on-time.This position is full-time (40 hours / week) with current hours of work are 10:00 am - 7:00 pm Monday - Friday. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. Our office is located at 15529 College Blvd.Positions in this function assist in monitoring drug inventory within pharmacy mail order computer system. Processes drug purchases, verifies shipments against invoices, follows up on discrepancies. Maintains proper storage of drug inventory. Monitors and adjusts/calibrates pharmacy equipment, fills dispensing units. Processes, packs and ships outgoing pharmacy orders. Pharmacy Technician positions will require state registration/licensure as applicable.Position Description: Utilizes best method for product packing and shipping based on standard procedures to include type of packaging, unique conditions (i.e. refrigeration), etc to insure safe and secure delivery of patients prescription order Prepares manual prescription orders by verifying information, pulls appropriate drugs from inventory, completes necessary scanning and packages as necessary Communicates with other team members when questions arise on orders to insure accuracy, quality and on-time delivery are maintained Responsible for maintaining various machines and equipment (e.g. IPD machines, auto packing machines) to include routine maintenance, recalibration and resolving mechanical problemsLimited work experienceWorks on simple tasks using established proceduresDepends on others for guidanceWork is typically reviewed by others
