And you'll do your life's best work.(sm) The Clinical Admin Coordinator is responsible to schedule and coordinate appointments with clients, physicians and examinees in both the IME/QME and SSI lines of business. This position ensures that client specific requirements are met for all contracted examinations, all related services are arranged as needed and all necessary reports are received and returned to the clients within the required time frame. Business is primarily done via phone which requires the highest level of quality customer service and phone skills. All duties must be completed in compliance with all regulatory and company standards. Primary Responsibilities:Schedules examinations through the appropriate databaseSchedules and confirms appointment dates and times within the assigned physicians' offices or MSLA clinicsCommunicates with contracted clients regarding appointment scheduling, physician CVs, appointment changes, no-shows, cancellations and receipt of medical recordsSends out required regulatory letters and notices within the mandated time framePrepares charts for the contracted provider to include all medical records, specific client questions, service requests and ensures delivery to provider and/or the exam location prior to the scheduled examinationCommunicates with clients, providers or examinees regarding cancellations or schedule changesRecruiting and contracting of medical examiners to complete IME examsRecruitment of medical examiners for paneling with the DWC to conduct QME examsCoordinates scheduling of any related services such as interpretation or transportationEnsures all job duties are carried out in accordance with state and federal safety and legal regulationsAll other duties assigned by Management
Required Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent2+ years of related claim-handling experience specifically in relation to workers compensation, general liability or casualty insurance industries or government funded aid programs; or equivalent combination of education and experiencePreferred Qualifications:BilingualAA degree Fundamentals of the claims work-flow process and the importance of regulatory complianceWorking knowledge of various medical specialties and associated testing. Basic working knowledge of State Funded Disability programs is preferredAble to work independently, and in conjunction with team members at all levels of the organizationAbility to adhere to strict confidentiality guidelines and operate with the utmost integrity and discretion Familiarity with IME/QME lines of business including its importance and function to our clientsAble to learn various proprietary data systemsProficient in general computer use and Microsoft Office SuiteMust have exceptional verbal communication skills as business is conducted primarily via telephoneMust be able to interact with insurance companies, federal employees and medical providers in a professional manner with a high level of customer service Attention to detail Sense of urgencyMust be able to adhere to a normal work scheduleCareers with MSLA.
