And you'll do your life's best work.(sm) Primary Responsibilities:Directly responsible for creating, implementing, and delivering pharmacy training and training updates to new and current employees Coordinates pharmacy onboarding for all new pharmacists and pharmacy technicians along with the standardized companywide onboarding program Works in tandem with other role specific trainers for new business / pharmacy implementations that may require onsite travelDevelops training tools and programs, including PowerPoint presentations and WebEx training for the clinical and management teams to remain compliant with regulatory requirements and company policy Present company programs as requested by Clinical and Senior Leadership Assist Clinical leadership in disseminating company goals to clinical staff Provide on - site support and / or education via various training methods and tools availableAssists in implementing new protocols, policies and best practices to the fieldCoordinates the training and implementation of new infusion programs and initiativeFacilitates and ensures understanding and branch contribution to the Company's Performance Improvement Program Assists in orientation and training of new full time pharmacy clinicians Assists in the development of training calendars for all new pharmacy and other clinical staff as requestedAssists in introducing new infusion products / services to prospective physician and managed care customers Participates in CEU presentation to staff, key customers, clients and sales team
Required Qualifications: BS Pharmacy or PharmD Pharmacist license in good standing in the current state of residence 3+ years of practicing Pharmacist experience working in in home infusion, hospital, or related healthcare environment Strong drug product and clinical pharmacy knowledge 2+ years Home Infusion Experience Knowledge of various pharmacy operating software systems Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Ability to travel up to 75% of the time Preferred Qualifications:Instructional design and / or training experience for pharmacy services Experience in presenting to a variety of audiencesExperience participating in and / or developing pharmacy intern / externship programs CPR+ experience UnitedHealth Group is working to create the health care system of tomorrow.
