The Clinical Technician position is responsible for providing excellent customer experience while assisting the patient and the care team. This position is responsible for patient safety, Point of Care testing, assisting in minor procedures, processing lab specimens and the safe operation of medical equipment. The Clinical Technician position is responsible for the collection, communication and documentation of accurate patient information/data, and maintaining medical records according to regulatory standards and organizational policies and procedures. The Clinical Technician is responsible for coordinating requests for information and prescriptions, maintaining and preparing patient care areas to ensure efficient, effective and safe patient care delivery. This position does not administer or handle medications. This position addresses patient questions/concerns with information as directed by the provider. The Clinical Technician may provide scheduling support, authorization assistance, scanning or other medical practice assistance as directed. This position reports to the Manager/Supervisor.
