This is a place like no other and where you'll do your life's best work.(sm) Primary Responsibilities:Partner with clients / vendors to configure Electronic Data Interface (EDI) member eligibility / billing transmission files for UnitedHealthcare Financial Protection ProductsManage and lead each file configuration project timeline, scope and resourcesPartner with sales, brokers, internal resources to document and communicate policy structure and plan design for customer enrollmentAudit and validate vendor files for plan design compatibilityProvide production support for active EDI eligibility and billing groups The biggest challenge you'll encounter is making sure the quality of your reporting, analysis and audits is rock solid. While you're developing plans and programs to support continuous quality improvement, you also need to be ready to adapt and adjust your strategies in this very fluid environment.
Required QualificationsBachelor's degree5+ years of experience in business analysis 3+ years of experience in US Health Care industry2+ years of exposure to healthcare claimsIntermediate or higher level of proficiency with Excel and AccessPreferred QualificationsAbility to communicate analysis including trends and opportunities to clients and the business in writing and verbally Ability to work effectively in a changing environmentPrior experience working with external clients and multiple business teamsPrior experience with or knowledge of EDIExperience supporting or performing User Acceptance Testing (UAT)Knowledge and understanding of HIPAAKnowledge of Testing and Quality Assurance methodologiesSelf-starter, go-getter effective working individually or on a team As a Fortune 6 company with 260,000 people all pulling in the same direction, we're used to setting the pace for change.
