Providence is calling a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) (Family Medicine, Day Shift 1.0 FTE) to Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Polson, Montana. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all – especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
In this position you will:
Work closely with physicians and mid-level providers (i.e. nurse practitioners, etc.) to help ensure the delivery of high quality patient care.
Apply your knowledge, skills and experience in patient interactions that take place both in person and over the telephone.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Licensed as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) in Montana State
Current Basic Life Saving (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Ability to use skills to assist in a variety of treatments and medications as directed including: taking vital signs; maintaining records and recording test results; developing and maintaining departmental quality assurance; establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
One (1) year previous experience in the medical field
Experience in a clinical setting
