Providence is calling a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist - Oncology to Providence St. Vincent Medical Office Building East Pavillion in Portland, OR.
In this position, you will:
Be responsible for coordination of medication-related services across Providence Oncology and Hematology Care Clinics.
Have responsibilities that include promotion of evidence-based, safe, effective drug therapy, standardization of medication practices across clinics, and coordination with drug procurement, inventory management and billing processes.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduate from an accredited College of Pharmacy. Pharm.D. or M.S. degree in pharmacy with residency unless equivalent experience and education can be documented
Current valid pharmacy license by the Oregon State Board of Pharmacy or ability to become eligible for the Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist exam within 2 years of hire
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Hematology/Oncology specialty residency
3 years of experience in ambulatory or acute care pharmacy practice
