·Evaluate care for specific patient populations using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
·Collaborate with clinic providers according to patient care needs.
·Has extensive knowledge of the clinical, educational, and technical aspects of a specialty physician practice, providing expert advice and information to staff and patients regarding specialty care.
·Integrate management, consultation, research and education functions alongside the clinical role.
·Current RN Michigan License. BSN or equivalent combination of education and specialty practice experience.
·Minimum of five years of recent experience in an acute care setting required with experience specifically pertaining to the specialty of the physician practice or 10-15 years of experience working in the specialty of the physician's practice.
·A certification in the specialty preferred, but not required for more than five years of experience in the specialty.
·Completion of 4 to 12 weeks of orientation at the physician practice
