Under the general direction of the Academic Personnel Manager, the Academic Personnel Analyst (Acad HR Anl 2) will manage and coordinate academic initiatives in the School of Nursing Dean's Office related to academic recruitment, appointment, advancement, payroll, international visa applications, leave administration, and credentialing.--General understanding and knowledge of UC policies and procedures governing the Academic Senate, Academic Federation, Graduate Studies, and collective bargaining units as it relates to academic appointments. --Working knowledge of PPS and OPTRS.PeopleSoft preferred or other payroll systems.--Working knowledge of AggieTravel and UC traveland entertainment policies, and academic removals.--Possess computer skills, knowledge of and experience with computer programs such as Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook. Experience using survey and virtual meeting software.--Demonstrated experience working with MyInfoVault.--Working knowledge of APHID or other action tracking system, preferred.--Working knowledge of UC Recruit, preferred.SPECIAL REQUIREMENT--Must be able to work variable schedule as needed.--THIS POSITION MAY BE SUBJECT TO A CRIMINAL BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION, DRUG SCREEN, LIVE SCAN FINGERPRINTING, MEDICAL EVALUATION CLEARANCE, AND FUNCTIONAL CAPACITY ASSESSMENT
