Responsible for delegating and reviewing the timely and accurate posting of patient and insurance payments, insurance write-offs, charge adjustments, deductibles, copays, and non-covered or denied amounts. The balancing of all adjustments and payments posted daily by batch in Epic. Reviews EOB and patient payments to determine any possible over payments made by payer and/or patient. Reviews to make sure all payments, EFT, ACH transactions should be posted the day they are received and posted via the appropriate medium (paper vs. electronic) and with all required adjustments. Accounts are reviewed, corrections identified, and corrections made or resolution initiated when found. Ensure the timely escalation of any issues that may arise in the normal daily workflow to the supervisor. Ability to think critically to identify trends and resolve accounts independently. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Experience managing special projects or demonstrated subject matter expertise in at least one aspect of revenue cycle operations. Assure documentation is professional, appropriate and accurately depicts actions performed and in accordance with Departmental Quality Review standards. All daily, weekly, monthly reports are complete and submitted timely and are completed with minimal errors. Provide support, education, and guidance to Team. Perform duties, as assigned, in the absence of the Supervisor or Manager. Identify the need for and provide support and guidance to other Team members to assure all Team members are efficient and productive. Serve in supervisory role as needed in the absence of the Team Supervisor or Manager. Perform other duties, as assigned by the Supervisor, Manager, or Director
