Education Program : Manages the Inova Office of Research (IOR) education program in order to ensure maximum effectiveness and efficiency, including development, organization, marketing and implementation of program(s). Creates an environment for professional development of research staff, ensuring successful application of proven adult learning principles. Specifically, plans, develops and coordinates the IOR Clinical Research Staff orientation program. Quality Improvement : Leads the IOR Research Quality Improvement Team program (RQIP) in performing quality reviews of active research studies. Develops, maintains and demonstrates leadership and knowledge in the management of research quality improvement process and compliance. Maintains expert knowledge of the research process. Communication : Demonstrates excellent communication, interpersonal skills, collaboration and involvement in order to develop/maintain/and provide education programs for research departments and other Inova clinician-researchers. Consistently applies Lean thinking to departmental operations to enhance services. Demonstrates an orientation toward achievement and professional growth of self and others.
