Manage & direct the preparation and/or review of preliminary & filed Medicare/Medicaid cost reports. Direct development & illustrate impact of proposed & final Federal/State regulations to staff & Senior Management. Direct the development of contractual allowances for budget projections & monthly & year-end financial statements.
Work with Inova Hospitals on third party reimbursement issues including Medicare, Medicaid, and Tri-Care cost reports, audit support, wage index, GME/IME, DSH, Uncompensated Care, transplant, Medicaid DSH, Medicaid expansion, and TDRG reimbursement.
Work with accounting on reimbursement accounts.
Work with compliance, PFS, and operations as needed on reimbursement related issues.
