Environmental Services Supervisor

At Cottage Health in Santa Barbara, California, our facilities are state of the art and our physicians, nurses, technicians and staff are extraordinary. We are seeking a quality-conscious Environmental Services Supervisor to oversee activities of the housekeeping department, including daily workflow and scheduling, employee hiring and training, financial management and quality/regulatory compliance. You will evaluate and monitor quality improvement indicators for safety and sanitation utilizing established programs and standards and develop action plans to continually improve safety and sanitation of the facility. 

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Knowledge of EVS regulatory standards and infection prevention guidelines pertaining to facilities maintenance (large medical facilities preferred)
• Three years of supervisory experience with one year in housekeeping or two years as a hospital supervisor leading large teams
• Supervisory experience in environmental services preferred
• Bilingual/Spanish fluency
