The Psychologist applies professional psychological diagnostic methods and evidence-based intervention strategies to a full range of patient problems in his/her work setting. He/she has knowledge of psychological diagnosis, intervention, and behavioral health that qualifies him/her to provide advice and consultation to professionals representing a variety of disciplines. Duties include but not limited to: Provides a full range of psycho-diagnostic services including assessment and using the most appropriate psychotherapeutic techniques in providing quality care. Makes use of evidence-based treatments for PTSD and other conditions. Performs evaluations for specific patient populations. Assessment and treatment services in an outpatient clinic setting to include group and individual therapy formats. Completes consults in a timely manner. Returns patient phone calls and provides guidance to patients on treatment options. Provides training and guidance to pre-doctoral interns in APA accredited internship program and clinical psychology doctoral practicum students. Serves as a consultant to staff and trainees and assist in their formulation of the psychological characteristics and appropriate treatment expectations regarding their patients. Participates in training committee and related training functions. Continues program monitors and outcome measurements within programs assigned using a data-driven quality assurance processes. Actively involved in clearing clinical reminders, as relevant for Mental Health. Assists in preparing RFPs and grant proposals as assigned. Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm Financial Disclosure Report: Not required
