JOB SUMMARY
The Wellness Advisor 2 develops and implements innovative wellness programs for a broad range of health risks and topics in alignment with overall strategy and initiatives and performs lead duties in support of leadership.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE

• Develops and implements health and wellness programs that promote healthy lifestyles, encourages use of preventative health services and ensures progress to overall objectives.
• Ensures participation in wellness programs to include maximization of engagement with tools and resources, behavior change, reduction in health risks, improvement of overall well-being and positive healthy lifestyles choices among various participant populations.
• Provides health and wellness education, including but not limited to, health assessments, effective use of health risk processes and tools, assessment of at-risk areas, and referrals to appropriate resources.
• Coordinates and delivers on-site health fairs, health screenings, educational seminars, team-based wellness challenges, incorporates community-based health-related initiatives and programs.
• Targets programs to special at-risk populations, contributes to wellness program improvement initiatives and projects by collecting, analyzing and interpreting data; makes actionable recommendations to programs. Develops and maintains accurate and reliable methods for collecting, aggregating, tracking and trending data.
• Supports compliance with applicable regulatory and accreditation agencies such as survey submissions and oversight of wellness coaching certification program.

QUALIFICATIONS

• EDUCATION - Bachelors or Equivalent Exp
• EXPERIENCE - A minimum of 2 years’ experience required
