Pursuant to the collective bargaining agreement, Cook County will exhaust internal eligible applicants prior to considering external applicants. JOB SUMMARY: CRITICAL CARE - RAPID RESPONSE TEAM - STROGER HOSPITAL -CHICAGO, IL. - SHIFT: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM (36 hours a week/72 hours a pay period) The Clinical Nurse I (Rapid Response), provides advanced level of care to critical patients throughout the hospital. Responds to all Rapid Response, STEMI Team pages and Code Blue calls. Demonstrates an ability to assess and recognize deteriorating patient condition, communicate with the interdisciplinary team and implement interventions. Maintains accurate documentation on the Rapid Response regarding cardiac arrests. Improves the experience of critically ill patients throughout the inpatient areas, establishing optimal levels of improved outcomes. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
