Newborn Hospitalist opportunity in Newport News, VA
Pediatrix Medical Group has an exciting opportunity for a BC/BE newborn-only Pediatric Hospitalist to join our neonatology practice at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, VA
Full time and part time positions available
Coverage of the newborn nursery with 2,500 annual births and an ALOS of 2.9 days
Responsibilities include attending deliveries, providing consultations to families and referring physicians, and teaching medical students, pediatric and family practice residents and students who rotate through the unit.
Inhouse coverage with flexible options of 8-10-hour schedule Monday - Friday with a neonatologist or NNP covering on nights and weekends
No call from home, allowing for an ideal work/life balance
