The Core Line Administrator – Laboratory Services, in coordination with the Service Line Medical Director, is responsible for the overall performance of the service line throughout Marshfield Clinic Health System (MCHS) of care. This individual works in collaboration with the Service Line Medical Director and has the authority and accountability for development of strategic and tactical planning, as well as the financial, quality, and service performance for the assigned specialty across MCHS.
The Core Line Administrator - Laboratory Services must be knowledgeable regarding all aspects of the assigned core line and understand the intricate aspects of the delivery of such services. Success in this role will be achieved through a participatory leadership/management style with emphasis on team orientation, system thinking, and development of effective interpersonal relationships with District Medical Directors, District Administrators, Department Chairs, Physicians, Managers, and staff.
Requires:
Master's degree in Business and/or Health Care Administration
Ten or more years of progressive management experience within the selected core line
MT (ASCP) or equivalent certification preferred
