The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School (NJMS) is recruiting two new faculty to join our growing department for full-time employment to expand our presence at the University Hospital (UH) located in Newark, New Jersey, and other community settings.
Sports and Musculoskeletal (Interventional Spine) Medicine
Trauma and acute hospital consultation/outpatient neurorehabilitation
For the Sports and Spine position, our department has a large volume of back pain and musculoskeletal referrals at University Hospital, as well as involvement with multiple sports (high school and college) teams.
For the consultation and neurorehab position, University Hospital is a Level I trauma center, where PM&R serves a part of the trauma team. (Board certified in Brain Injury or Spinal Cord Injury as well as experience with neurological and trauma related issues as well as toxin injections preferred.)
The successful candidates will have a strong interest in the above related activities as well as in teaching residents, fellows, and medical students. In addition, opportunities are available to be involved with research.
