JOB SUMMARY
Day to day supporting the operations of Duke Health Integrated Practice while analyzing current contracting and business development operations, identifying opportunities for improvement, presenting and managing solutions.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead analysis related to business development, provider contracting, negotiation, and compensation processes. Collaborate with leadership to determine business development, contract, and physician compensation strategy and parameters.
Designs and optimizes databases and electronic files in an organized manner. Prepare and/or evaluate supporting analyses. Identify barriers and opportunities in the contracting and business development process and develops process improvement solutions
Participate in development and regular production of standard reports. Incorporate Excel graphics, PowerPoint presentations, and maps (using Mapinfo, MapPoint), as appropriate, to aid in the visual representation of market information.
Support organization's efforts to maintain compliance with regulations and legal standards. Monitor compliance through formal and informal processes. Assist DUHS staff in integrating market data with internal data generated by finance, marketing, and other relevant departments.
Provides analytical support to Clinical Departments and community practices on issues regarding contract and compensation management in partnership leadership as appropriate.
JOB ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors degree in a business or health-related field is required.
Minimum of 5 years work experience, including 3 years of experience with significant responsibility for performance/ process improvement. Experience leading work teams required.
Experience can be supplemented with Master's degree with a Masters being equivalent to two years of experience.
