Job Summary and ResponsibilitiesCHI Health Clinic is recruiting a Board Certified/Board Eligible Endocrinologist to join a collegial group of 6 Endocrinologists and one Nurse Practitioner. Join a newly developing Cardiometabolic Center of Excellence. Support the education of fellows, residents and medical students through hands-on learning and mentorship, with a potential for a faculty appointment with Creighton University School of Medicine.
What you can expect:
- Full-time clinical role.
- 1.0 FTE: 36 patient contact hours per week.
- Great mix of outpatient general endocrinology and inpatient consults.
- Call responsibility 8 weeks per year assisted by internal medicine residents and endocrinology fellows.
- Treat patients with a full spectrum of endocrine conditions, including thyroid, adrenal, pituitary, bone, and metabolic disorders in addition to diabetes.
- Engage in bedside teaching and supervision of medical students, internal medicine residents and endocrinology fellows.
- Anticipated volume 15 patients per full clinic day.
- Existing referral patterns to help a new physician get started quickly.
- Full clinical support staff, including a dietician and on-site Certified Diabetes Educators (CDE).
- Fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC)
- Professional growth opportunity for this role could evolve into a clinic physician champion. In this capacity, you will partner with clinic and operational leadership to drive key clinic metrics, lead quality improvement and safety protocols, and promote the implementation of organizational initiatives.

Job Requirements- MD, DO, MBBS or equivalent required
- Board certified in Internal Medicine
- Board eligible/board certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism
- Ability to obtain licensure in Nebraska
- Ability to successfully teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows within the discipline of endocrinology.
