Hackensack Meridian Health is hiring a Board Certified or Board Eligible Physician Assistant to work in the Brain Injury unit at the JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute in Edison, New Jersey. Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Assessment & Diagnosis:
- Conduct and document comprehensive patient histories and physical examinations.
- Order, perform, and interpret laboratory results and diagnostic studies to formulate accurate diagnoses.
- Clinical Management & Treatment:
- Develop and manage treatment plans for a variety of medical and surgical conditions.
- Prescribe medications and therapeutic interventions under the supervision of an Attending, adhering to all New Jersey state regulations.
- Collaboration & Advocacy:
- Collaborate seamlessly with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, specialists, and support staff to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
- Serve as a dedicated clinical resource and passionate advocate for patients and their families.
- Patient & Family Education:
- Provide compassionate, culturally sensitive, and effective health education to empower patients and their families throughout the care journey.

REQUIREMENTS: PA
- Certification: Must hold an active Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) credential.
- Education: Master's degree from an ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Licensure: Must possess an active and unrestricted New Jersey state license as a Physician Assistant.
- Experience: Open to both experienced practitioners and new graduates.
COMPENSATION:
Minimum Starting Base Salary: $148,803.20 Annually
